About AIP Holidays

Unfortunately, your autoimmune disease doesn't take a break when the holidays are around (in fact, the stress of the holidays can sometimes make your disease WORSE).

If you're actively trying to stop a flare in its tracks or just know the AIP diet is where you feel your best, this can be one of the hardest times to get through.

All of the holiday parties always have tempting treats. Even watching holiday MOVIES can be hard, am I right? (Don't get me started on how jealous I get of their decorations too)

So because I know how much it sucks to feel left out from the delicious food around you, I decided to make a book of recipes JUST for you. All Autoimmune Paleo compliant so you can have just as much fun as everyone else.

Food shouldn't be an issue now - just make these dishes and spend that wonderful time with loved ones.

Frequently Asked Questions:

How is this book delivered?

AIP Holidays is a PDF download. You'll receive the file immediately upon purchase and then can view it on any device or print it out if you want a hard copy.

What version of AIP is this for?

I've written this for the Paleo Autoimmune Protocol, which is the version by Dr. Sarah Ballantyne.

I can't eat coconut. Is there anything for me in this book?

Yes, there is! I've written as many of the recipes as I can with either no coconut or substitutions that can be used for any coconut products. There are a few recipes where it simply cannot be avoided, but there aren't a lot of them. Out of the 31 recipes, only 3 can't be made coconut-free (the Coconut Chips, Pumpkin Pie, and Molasses Cookies)

AIP flours are expensive. Do the recipes require them?

No, only the breakfast baked goods and a few of the desserts need flours, and most of them are flours you should be able to find in most grocery stores these days. A few of the recipes require tigernut flour or sliced tigernuts, which you can easily get online. The majority of the other recipes don't use any hard-to-find ingredients.

What is AIP?

The AIP Diet (Autoimmune Protocol) is a temporary healing elimination and reintroduction strategy specifically for those with autoimmune disease. The main idea of the diet is to remove foods proven by scientific studies to commonly be problematic for those with autoimmune disease, then add in nutrient-dense foods that will help replenish your body and allow you to heal (which means relief from your symptoms!). In the end, you’ve got a highly customized diet that works best for YOU.

All of these recipes are free from:

  • gluten
  • grains
  • dairy
  • eggs
  • nuts
  • seeds
  • nightshades
  • processed sugars
