Here's the thing... doctors address symptoms.

What doctors don't typically do is look at the root cause.

Why is your disease even happening in the first place?

Symptoms are merely the body's way of crying out for help. Your body is telling you that something is wrong at a very deep level.

You can choose to ignore this, but do so at your own peril.

By the time autoimmune disease manifests into symptoms, you have chronic systemic inflammation (not good for a myriad of reasons), your gut is most likely damaged (leaky gut), and your immune system is so dysregulated that it's LITERALLY ATTACKING ITSELF.

What part of that is good?

Yet, your doctor will have you believe that if you just smear this cream over your psoriasis, you're good to go and life is great.

ONE VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: Medication does not stop the autoimmune attack on your tissues.

Let me repeat that - taking a drug for your Hashimoto's hypothyroidism, insulin for T1 diabetes, or using a steroid to stop rashes won't stop the attack. These merely address one side of the equation (like in the case of Hashi's, it just replaces the hormone you can't make anymore) - but your body is still completely running amok, battling inflammation, and not able to tell if your organ tissue is a part of your body or a really dangerous virus.

Not good.

(There are some immune-modulating drugs, but these typically shut down your WHOLE immune system, so now you can't go out in public without worrying about every single germ in a 10-mile radius. Also not preferable.)

So instead of playing wack-a-mole with your symptoms and taking drugs to cover up those symptoms, how about fixing it all from the root cause?

I don't know if this is the right time for me. Can I join when I'm ready?

What determines when you're ready? Will you ever BE ready? You can't keep putting off your health because the underlying root cause of your disease will just keep attacking your tissues, triggering chronic inflammation, and keep your body in a diseased state. You really don't want to let that go on for too long.

However, if you're not ready because of family obligations, etc, that's totally understandable. I may offer this program again in January.

I've already spent SO MUCH MONEY on tests, doctors, food, etc, Why should I spend money on this?

Oh man do I get it. I spent thousands before I even got to my functional medicine practitioner (who I paid $14,000 to get me a diagnosis and tell me to do AIP). Our healthcare system is not set up to manage preventative care nor autoimmunity.

But with this program you'll be able to stop getting so many tests (I'm down to once a year!), go to expensive doctor's visits, see so many specialists, and maybe even pay for expensive medications.

How is the program delivered?

This will be a live program, meaning you'll get some videos and tools ahead of time, but the bulk of the program will be delivered weekly throughout the 12 weeks of the course.

In the beginning of the week, I'll release the new week with some tools and resources and then we'll have a live Zoom call to dive deeply into the week's topic. I'll send out a replay after the live call for anyone who is unable to attend. We'll also have a live Q&A call at the end of the week so you can get even more support for what you may have struggled implementing during the week or had questions about.

Throughout the program, you'll have community access via a private Facebook group and can expect to receive personal check-in emails from me periodically.

Will I be able to go back to my normal diet?

This is a great question. I will say that MOST people wind up being gluten-free at the very least, as gluten has such a huge connection with most autoimmune diseases, and as you'll learn in the program, has the ability to trigger one of the major causes of autoimmune disease symptoms by itself.

Many people also choose to remain dairy-free as well, as dairy and gluten proteins are very similar to the body.

However, beyond that is totally up to you. Because you'll be doing an elimination diet with reintroductions, you'll be able to see exactly how certain foods make you feel, and at that point you can choose to keep them out or include them in your diet.

At the end of the program you'll be well on your way to a custom diet that works best for you to maintain your health and hopefully keep your disease in remission.
